Precision Scales and Balances

What is a Precision Scale?

Precision balances or scales can be defined as a scale used for measuring the mass of a product to a very precise resolution. The Precision Scale is a type of weighing scale or balance that measures the weight of samples in small increasing quantities until it approaches a specific number. The precision scales are also known as top-loading balances. The weighing capacities of electronic precision balances begin from milligrams and go up to kilograms.

Precision scales usually have a higher capacity than analytical balances, and come with various weighing applications including percentage weighing, density determination, and dynamic animal weighing.
